St. Martin's Skilled Nursing
Our Skilled Nursing facility
of 138 beds is licensed by the State of Alabama.
The rooms are spacious and attractive, preserving
a homelike atmosphere for residents. Care is provided
24 hours a day under the supervision of a professional
management team and a highly qualified licensed
nursing staff. To help residents reach their maximum
physical potential, St. Martin's has a full time,
on site therapy staff, which includes physical,
occupational, and speech therapy. Ancillary medical
services such as podiatry, dentistry, optometry
and geriatric psychiatry are also available. Services
provided by the Social Work, Pastoral Care and
Activities Departments assure that the social,
spiritual and recreational needs of each resident
are met.
Rose Suite
For those residents
who are diagnosed with a terminal illness, St.
Martin's offers complete hospice care in the comfort
of our Rose Suite. The Rose Suite is completely
furnished to provide peace and privacy for the
resident, family and visitors. The resident will
receive the full range of nursing care, including
pain management, as prescribed by the attending
physician. Accommodations for overnight stays
by the family are available.
