May I bring a pet?
Yes. Cats and small dogs, under 30 pounds are welcomed to be part of the St. Martin’s family in the Independent or Assisted Living apartments. The resident must be capable of caring for the pet and meet community guidelines.


Do I use my own furniture?

Residents that choose St. Martin’s to be their permanent home bring their own furniture and belongings. If a resident is staying for a respite (short term) care, St. Martin’s offers furnished rooms.


May I have a refrigerator in my room?
Yes. Assisted Living and Evergreen Assisted Living residents can bring a small refrigerator, however the maintenance department must check the appliance for safety prior to use.


May I have a coffee pot in my room?
It is recommended that residents refrain from having any appliance in their room that can be a fire hazard.


Who owns St. Martin's? Are other faiths allowed?

St. Martin's physical and spiritual growth is guided by the Episcopal Foundation of Jefferson County. Although the religious orientation of St. Martin's is Episcopalian, residents of all denominations are welcome.

 

Are all activities church related?

No, Our activity calendar is diverse in that we offer regularly scheduled services for Episcopal and Catholic residents, as well as have Baptist and Methodist churches hold evening services or music services as often as possible. We also work with the local temple to celebrate holy days within the Jewish tradition.
